This deluxe set completes the retrospective of Martin's Capitol recordings. It contains all of his recordings from 1956 to 1961. This was Dean's artistic and commercial hey-day. He had just split from Jerry Lewis, and his first solo movies established him as a major box-office draw. His records continued to sell well despite the R&R's onslaught and he was fast becoming the king of the lounges.
