- Into The Bunker

German Oak's only album was released as a small private pressing back in 1972. The album was recorded in an old Nazi bunker by these young German hippies. The album has a basement feel to it!. Heavy psych/krautrock record. "Down in the Bunker" is the best part here, It includes some powerful guitarwork though. “Raid Over Düsseldorf” is the definite highlight, it takes you on a surreal, nightmarish journey through some WWII hell and is spaced out beyond belief. At times it's almost entirely noise/industrial, which is way the hell ahead of its time. Definitely one the bleakest records out there and one that needs to be heard.
