About my records
: Downsizing my vinyl collection; my loss is your gain. My records have been well cared for and stored in a dry, smoke free environment. I strive to describe general condition accurately, and have made every effort to avoid listing any duds—but if you're not satisfied that the condition is as here described please do contact me to arrange a return / refund.

About shipping: Interested in multiple albums? by all means contact me before  payment for combined shipping. Full + $5 CAD per additional album. All records will mail within ~24 hours of payment (48 on weekends).

Shipping to the United States is Canada Post Tracked Packet, 4-7 days to most locations.

Shipping in Canada is Expedited Parcel, 7 days to most locations.

In both cases, please note that due to my rural location, tracking can be slow to update in the first ~48 hours.

All records mail in high quality, unused record mailers with stiffeners and bubble wrap if needed. Records are shipped outside of jackets to avoid possible damage due to shifts during shipping.

About grading: NM > EX > VG+

I grade my records by listening (on a quality turntable/stylus) and aim for accurate grading within the Goldmine standard, with the addition of an EX grade for accuracy at the upper/lower bounds of VG+/NM. The basic gist of my personal approach to grading is as follows:

NM (Near Mint)

Reserved for records I personally purchased NEW, played less than ~10 times AND are free of any pressing defects or oddities.

EX (Excellent)
Generally, I'd apply EX to anything purchased new, listened to semi-frequently, and which is free of all but the most minor of defects.
A 25+ year old record has got to be exceptionally clean to rate as EX.

VG+
(Very Good Plus)
Basically everything else in my collection: Records that show signs of being played but not ill-treated, lower quality reissues, pressings that are otherwise good but have some small flaw. Good listening copies that may have light ticks and pops, slight warps, soundhole wear. Any specific, notable defects will be itemized.

Covers
are as seen. Any flaw such as a hole punch, seam tear, etc, will be detailed in individual photos.
