All
records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra
information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above
are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
These
records are in excellent condition. There are spindle marks and rubbing on each label but no pen marks, scuffs or fading
anywhere. The centres show very little wear and are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape but with the spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, all four sides have a vivid shine and have nothing at all deep or serious visible
in normal light. There is some light lines, minor scratches and 'sleeve
scuffs' visible
on each side but nothing nasty(scratch pictures looks worse than it is) and overall all four sides are used but would grade as EX. When viewed under very bright
light these signs of use do clearly show along with a few more wispy lines,
but not a drastic amount and again nothing sinister. The records have no nasty scuffs, serious marks or
blemishes, have a lovely vivid shine and for their age are in good condition.
I
play tested
both the records and they both played well. They lay flat with little
to no movement in the record arm and the
sound produced on all four sides is free of skips,
jumps or clicks. There was also no major surface noise audible but there is some light interference in places. This is mostly down to the original recordings themselves however, rather than any issues with the lps themselves. I also noted some light hissing in track 2 on side 3. There is again nothing in this track that appears to cause this so I am again pretty certain this is the original recording or a pressing issue. Overall I enjoyed all four sides however and none of the 'interference' was extreme or majorly disruptive.
The
gatefold sleeve is
in excellent condition. It has some mild wear and laminate peeling to the spine
and
corners, but the writing along the spine is all clearly legible.
There
are no splits, tears, scuffs or pen marks
anywhere and overall it is clean and strong all round. It has a few
minor
creases
in places however and some very light ring marks showing. Inside the
gatefold is clean and free of any real issues but there is some light discolouring to the white area. Overall a strong sleeve which for its age is in very nice condition and has no serious issues to report. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but
please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as
possible.
It contains both its original CBS inners which are in a similar very good condition.
Neither has tears, splits or pen marks but both do have some
creasing and age related discolouring/grubbiness.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
