Puccini - Madama Butterfly Highlights - Vinyl Lp Record - With Renata Tebaldi, Carlo Bergonzi and Tullio Serafin conducting the Orchestra of the Accademia Di Santa Cecilia, Rome - released on Decca - Catalogue # SXL 2202

Matrix Numbers:

Side One : ZAL-4338-1E

Side Two : ZAL-4339-1D

Vinyl is an extremely strong near mint - possibly unplayed .  Wideband labels with "Original Recording By" are near mint.  Cover is an extremely strong VG+ due to a tiny amount of wear at corners and a small stain at back - perhaps due to a price sticker that has been removed .  Comes with original lined Decca inner sleeve with blue lettering as well as a new 3 mil. inner sleeve.

We encourage questions but please ask all questions prior to bidding.  We do not accept returns on sealed items.

OUR GRADING SCALE(S)

Vinyl/Lp/Record:

* Sealed

* Near Mint (NM) - Our highest grade for an opened LP.  A nearly perfect record.

* Very Good Plus (VG+) - Previous owner took very good care of the LP but there are signs that it was played and handled.  The vinyl surfaces will show some signs of wear - slight scuffs or extremely light hairlines/scratches.  Some surface noise may be present .

* Very Good (VG) -  We rarely list lps of this grade .  The same defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced.  Surface noise will probably be evident , especially in quiet passages or during a song's intro and fade .

Cover/Sleeve/Box:

* Sealed

* Near Mint (NM) - Our highest grade for an opened LP.  A nearly perfect cover.

* Very Good Plus (VG+) - Previous owner took good care of the cover but there are some signs that it was handled.

* Very Good (VG) - The same defects found in a VG+ sleeve will be more pronounced.

For covers, we consider anything below VG as poor and will have very significant wear, splits, damage, etc.  We will list lps with covers that are poor provided that the vinyl is VG or better.

Shipping

We combine shipping on multiple auction wins/purchases .

All lps and covers are shipped together within a poly outer sleeve with lp removed from cover and placed within outer sleeve to prevent damage to the cover during shipment.  Sealed items will remain sealed and will be sent within a poly outer sleeve.  Boxed set lps will remain within their boxes .  Purchases will be boxed and shipped within 3 business days of payment but usually within 24 hours .  Acceptance scanning by the USPS may take 3 to 4 days .  Additional insurance and/or premium shipping service will be required for auction wins that exceed $100.00 .

  International shipments will be quoted/invoiced with the lowest shipping cost service that provides insurance and tracking.

High cost items may need to use premium shipping service.

We are based in Canada but use a service that allows us to offer shipping through USPS.  As a result, we cannot send packages to U.S. addresses for $US4.00.  In addition, we cannot a send a package, or multiple packages, with a total value over $US750.00 to any single address per day nor can we send a single package over 30lbs.  If you happen to purchase a number of items that combine over these limits, we will have to send out multiple packages over two, or more, days and will mean more than one postage charge.  Single items that exceed the value maximum may need to be sent through alternate methods than those on the item listing.

   Payment

Auction winner will be sent an invoice shortly after the auction ends.

Please provide payment through Paypal.

In addition to the cost of the items themselves and their shipping, if required, the auction winner is responsible for any additional costs that may be incurred (eg. duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, registration, etc.) .  The declared value of the package will be the purchase price for the lp(s) .
