I try to grade all my vinyl records as honestly/accurately as I can and have based my grading on the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide (see further below).

 

(Vinyl) The vinyl looks glossy, nothing I can see that will affect the record audibly or visibly.

(Cover) Overall excellent. Structurally sound, in nice collectible condition with no issues

Record Grading:

 

All my records are graded based on Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide Standard as follows:

Mint (M) - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) - The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B) - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

***Please note that I am not a Professional Grader. I try to grade my records as accurately as I can, by visual inspection under light. The vinyl grading shown first followed by the sleeve grading***

The photographs I use are of the actual item that you are bidding on, I also try to show the full sleeve so that you can see any edge damage - I note that some sellers use stock photos & cut off the edges. If you want more photos of an item I am happy to supply them - just send me a request.

Packaging: All vinyl is shipped in professional record mailers with cardboard stiffeners to ensure your vinyl reaches you in good condition. 

 

Delivery time: My vinyl is shipped quickly and securely. I aim to ship items the following day after the payment has cleared. Small quantities are delivered via Royal Mail 2nd Class post. Larger quantities are despatched via courier. If you want your item quicker you can select Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm next day for an extra charge.
