This is certified by Polydor by it's matrix number(580-5063), as being an acatete of a live recording by Taste at The Marque Club in London on the 25th Oct. 1968. This was actually the very first gig by the Taste line-up of Rory Gallager-vocals, guitar & harmonica, John Wilson-drums & percussion & Richard McCracken-bass guitar & vocals. Therefore making it a true piece of legendary rock history. This may be the only actual acetate record live recording of this event. The name E. Kennedy(probably the name of the sound engineer), appears written on the sleeve with the matrix number and 'Marquee Club, London. Record has a few slight marks as one would expect, however the sound quality is absolutely stunning and almost perfect throughout but for one 'run-through' jump somewhere. The tracks that are here are somewhat different to the 1975 Ariola version of the gig. Side 1; 1) I'm Moving On-approx. 3.45, 2) Pontiac Blues(with slight I'm Moving On reprisal) approx. 2.27, 3)Baby, Please Don't Go (with jamming & harmonica) approx. 9.30(label goes over final grooves). Side 2; 1) Blister On The Moon (with bass solo & audience participation) approx 4.00 running into 2) Baby, Please Don't Go approx 9.00 Rory says 'Gonna wrap it up here, hope you've enjoyed the music !) running into 3) Blister On The Moon reprisal then into a crescendo ending approx 3.00. A truely uniqe and ultra rare record.
