Steve Dahl & Teenage Radiation 'RTA' 7" Vinyl 45 RPM w/Picture Sleeve WLS Records 1000-A, b/w 'RTA (Japanese Version)'. VERY RARE!!! A well known Chicago radio personality & disc jockey, Steve Dahl was among the original "shock jocks" of the 1970's & 1980's; one of his best known phases in the late 1970's was Disco Demolition and the anti-Disco movement. Known for his quick wit and crude humor, he spent many years at Chicago radio stations doing various morning & afternoon radio shows, and making a few parody songs along the way. RTA, released in 1981 as a parody song about Chicago's mass transit system, was based on AC/DC's song 'T.N.T.'. Record is near mint with shiny, mirror-like playing surface; small cluster of several extremely light handling scratches on A-side. Sleeve is near mint with no splits, creases, tears, stamps, writing, staple holes, stickers or labels, and all 4 corners are tight; some light ring impression. Copies of this record are hard to find, especially in this condition. Well-preserved for over 30 years and highly collectible!
