Welcome to a French
"HELP!" album, released on the old
Dark Blue Odeon Label ("Bleu Noir").
No doubt a
rare first press in an overall
very good condition. Being an
early one,
record comes with a
label printing error: On Side A, title # 02, label lists
THE NIGHT BEPORE, which was
corrected by French Odeon after some three weeks already. Another way to determine its early heritage is the "LPL" Matrix
extension on
both sides of the record.
Cover still held the (very prominent)
Red Odeon "Film" logo, changed with the second press half a year later.
This is important to know in order to evaluate record
and cover an "original match". Same goes for the old label logo
variation, namely Odeon
Seul with corresponding
rectangled "BIEM" stamp.
A really nice copy with a still incredibly glossy cover, very clean folds on back side, strong colors, and a clean surface,
which is everything but "usual" when it comes to old
French Beatles records. If this lady is not on your shelf yet, this is a
perfect chance to obtain her in an
allover very good condition.
We understand that our asking price is everything but a bargain (across all of our listings). However, we kindly ask you to refrain
from sending "50-percent-offers". At
beabay, we possess an in-depth knowledge of Beatles Vinyl, meaning our prices
have been carefully chosen and placed.
Dozens of international collectors trust in this and confirmed their 100-percent-satisfaction -
some of them we copied later in this listing.
Please see grading details for a more elaborate description of the record's condition.
SIMULTANEOUS RECORD SALES
Please note that we offer all of our records on different online platforms as well as thru home depot sales simultaneously.
We thereby reserve the right to cancel a listing without prior notice and/or justification, namely when a record has been sold and is
no longer available.

We use superb vinyl equipment with its heart being an Ortofon real-diamond system and gold plated contacts all around.
If available, audible checks were performed with an ORTOFON Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier,
using a Sennheiser 350 headset.
Remarks
As for the
Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after,
which are legal part of this auction.
Spine only
partially readable.
Cover is completely
glossy. Strong colors, clean surface, intact folds on back side.
Scuffed edges, lower left corner 1/8" cut, and a small cut at insertion slot.
Shiny vinyl. Hairlines.
Clean labels. Spindle hole wear..
Regarding audio,
plays perfectly thru no jumps, no skips. Bg noises. Still nice to listen to its strong mono sound.
Please keep in mind that an opinion is bound to be subjective. Refer to pictures, provided extensively.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, REGARDING AUDIO, DIFFERENT SYSTEMS PRODUCE DIFFERENT SOUNDS. IN OUR LONG-TERM EXPERIENCE, THIS APPLIES TO ALL KINDS
AND TYPES OF AUDIBLE DISTORTIONS, SUCH AS NOISES, CLICKS, POPS, SKIPS, ETC. AUDIO GRADINGS HENCE MAY BE CONSIDERED AN
ADD-ON AT YOUR CONVENIENCE.
THUS WHEN MAKING A DECISION TO BUY, PLEASE BASE YOUR EVALUATION ON PHOTOS HEREIN AFTER PROVIDED,
AS WELL AS OUR DESCRIPTION OF A RECORD'S APPEARANCE, NAMELY ALL "VISUAL COMPONENTS".
For a short explanation of applied grading, please see remarks on every listing's bottom of page.

1st Class Packaging
We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way.
Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque".
Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately.
The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover.
Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil
and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.
For packaging, we use brand-new material & items only.
Whatever eBay MIGHT display: INSURED, SIGNED-IN, TRACKED SHIPPING IS FREE. ANY DESTINATION ON THIS PLANET.
(PLEASE NOTE that pictured record is an
EXAMPLE only. It is
NOT the item up for auction. Thank you.)
Grading
Every record has been carefully graded
visually by ourselves.
Most records are audio-graded, too.
We grade
NM/NM-, EX+/EX/EX-, VG+/VG/VG-.
Shipping & Handling
is FREE, provided you live on planet earth.
To us, it doesn't matter where records find a new home, Paris, Tokyo, NYC, or Melbourne.
Dispatch Time
We usually prepare shipping immediately upon cleared payment. As a cushion space, however, shipping is
guaranteed within two business days.
Shipping Time
...is something that we do not have any influence on, please keep that in mind when applying feedback.
As a rule of thumb, times from registering with the
carrier until delivery at buyer's home
may be as follows:
Asia 7 thru 10 days.
U.K. one week.
U.S. 7 thru 10 days.
South America 10 thru 14 days.
Europe 4 thru 7 days.
Germany 24 thru 48 hours. However, please keep in mind that
these times are
estimates only and may vary among different carriers.
Payment
is expected within
48 hours after an auction's end, unless arranged differently
prior to bidding.
We accept PayPal or IBAN (SEPA) bank transfer
only.
A Note On Returns / Return Policy
We are two (crazy?) regular average women (Ginger & Fleur Isabell) who love Beatles, thus collecting their records, we're no dealers.
We buy vinyl to acquire better copies of what we have already, then selling our second, third, fourth copies. We are classic collectors and hence
describe and grade what we sell to our best knowledge, possessing a very high, sophisticated level of knowledge, in particular regarding European records.
If -for whatever reason- our description doesn't turn out to be appropriate, like, for instance, a song skips or jumps, vinyl isn't flat as assured
-these types of "error"-, we certainly accept a return (at buyer's expense), for a collector's satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. That certainly happened
already. We know that nobody buys a record from us "just for fun". However, as a very basic rule, all of our sales are personal und final.
ALL WE TRY TO AVOID IS TO SEND RARE, VALUABLE VINYL AROUND THE GLOBE "IN VAIN", JUST TO SATISFY A PERSON'S CURIOSITY, FOR EVERY "ROUND-TRIP" IS
A HUGE RISK EXPOSING THE RECORD.
