French 1st pressing most notable for having unique pink and yellow labels and different artwork on the sleeve reverse featuring newspaper cuttings. (only used for first Barclay release). This artwork was also planned for the Virgin UK release, but was withdrawn due to the once again rush/misprint release in the U.K.

The track listing on the inside of the sleeve bears no relation to the order of songs on the records and also includes an unusual message stating 'All Johnny Rotten recordings except Bensen (sic) Was A Gas' was recorded in 1976'.

There is no obvious differentiatation between the records other than the colour of the labels and the slightly different catalogue number printed on each one. Both discs have 'Side 1' on the text label and '2' printed on the picture Label, this indicates this pressing is for Barclay export use, normal French pressings have "Face1 / Face2" on labels. Unlike every other release there is no distinct A,B,C,D sides!

Different plates are used for the export pressing.
