I am selling a masterpiece. Not only is Deep Purple's Machine Head considered by critics and fans to be one of the best rock albums of all time but my copy is in near mint condition. It has been kept in plastic wrap since the day I bought it in1972. Yes the side was slit open so I could pull the record out and play it but the cover still looks brand new because of the wrap. There are no flaws whatsoever. The record itself was seldom played and it also is in near mint condition with no blemishes or scratches. The inner sleeve looks great. It contains an insert which measures 12 inches by 27 inches which has the song lyrics on it (also in great shape.) The album opens up into a gatefold which is in excellent condition with the binding still being very tight. Yes this is a 1972 original pressing release. You can tell be the label on the record. In 1973 Warner's changed the look of their labels. This is the motherlode of all rock albums and it is in near mint condition.
