Up for bids is a MARCONI / Columbia? Chinese 12 inch 78. Here is true piece of history. I bought this 12 inch 78 rpm disc at the same time as the 5 Marconi discs I have up for auction. It is made exactly the same as the Marconi discs. I am guessing that it must have been a collaboration between the two companies? Anyway, the disc has a few small rim chips, plays well with a little rougher in the beginning grooves because of needle wear. Some foxing / browning on back label. Extremely RARE disc from around 110 years ago. No reserve. No smells or mold. Sold AS IS. Will be packed with care and thought. Shipping for USA will be Media rate. Canada will be first class rate.
