An original condition copy of The Beatles "Rubber Soul" reel to reel mono tape 3 & 3/4 ips from 1965,  complete with the "Emitape" guarantee leaflet and packing slip. Intact spool with no cracks etc. White printed Part 1 leader tape with red printed part 2 trailing leader tape

Has been played both parts 1 and 2 and is perfect with no defects

Pink star tax code to top left of base box indicating that this item was returned to EMI as unsold, for purchase tax credit. (This is often mistaken for a blemish) Few were sold in comparison to the vinyl LP record, as quarter inch tape quality sound appealed to the more discerning audiophile. Even today the authentic, original mono sound appears top quality with none of the scratches, hisses etc of the vinyl offering. It is a pleasure to listen to.
