PLASTIC PENNY"Currency"(Sommor SOMM009)
Brand new limited edition stereo LP pressed on 180gram vinyl in authentic flipback card sleeve.
Never reissued on vinyl before, the 1969 album by Plastic Penny was their last effort and included some previously released singles tracks plus some new titles, including two of their best: the hard-hitting mod-stomper "Your Way To Tell Me Go" and the Move-like "Give Me Money", alongside their interpretations of Lieber/Stoller's "Hound Dog" and Jimmy Webb's "Macarthur Park". From psych–pop to hard–rock, this is their most powerful work—this edition includes the bonus track "She Does", arguably the best track they ever recorded.
Includes an insert with extensive liner-notes by British pop connoisseur Andy Morten.
Factory-sealed from new.
