VERY nicely kept Antique French Linguaphone Set.
Includes all 16 45rpm records with the original record sleeves in very good condition.
Everything appears in great condition. The record sleeves look great. I didnt see any tears. There are a few tiny tatters on sleeve edges from bouncing around loosely in case. I am going to secure everything inside case prior to shipping.
The case has some wear from handling and storing all these years. The outer fabric on the case is textured. It looks a bit dingy; I didn't attempt to wash it in fear of damage. Some scuffing on the edges of case. Everything in working order: when opened, the case folds out into a tri-fold for using. It is very sturdy and remains open for ease of operation. Simply pull record out of sleeve; convenient for switching out records.
I have little information on the date of books. They are identical lesson books. I saw small, neat pencil writing in some of margins; I did not discover a date of publishing. Please see photos of the inside copyright page of books. It is located in back of boom; preface is located on first page of book.
I did not see any soiling of liquid splash or spots from the user; the case has soiling and I do not know if it can be removed. The inside of case appears covered with litho paper. It would be very easy to damage or stain.Includes original inspection sheet.
Seems to be in very good shape.
There are several options for shipping.This weighs about 15 pounds. Hence, the hefty price for shipping. It meets the requirement for media mail shipping so it will be quite a bit less to ship using media mail; but, I do not believe insurance comes with media mail.
