Hello and welcome to one of my listings. Primarily I am a collector however from time to time I like to offer items from my collection. 

Grading is based on the UK record collectors grading chart primarily, however I do make the effort to ensure that the grading and its words match the items actual condition, although as is always the case; buyers should take time to look at the photos carefully to gage an accurate idea of the items condition.

 Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! Lovely first issued MONO issue of the Beatles self titled album from 1968 bearing a relatively low number of 0038918. This copy is fully complete with the four original portrait photos, poster, black inners & photo spacer. 

Sleeve strictly graded as VERY GOOD PLUS, a far better than average example with light general handling evidence along with some age toning but a very nice example that has retained its shape well.

Discs are graded VERY GOOD PLUS both are clean examples with great audio, a couple isolated long scuff lines which are of course completely non feelable along with one or two hairlines. Great full audio which appears not have been played much - just a few light spindle trails to each sides labels.

INNERS graded as VERY GOOD PLUS - nice with no splits however some storage creasing.

POSTER & PHOTOS & SPACER graded each as EXCELLENT!

UK RECORD GRADING SYSTEM

Mint The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.Excellent The record shows very minor signs of having been played, but there is virtually no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have very minor wear and/or creasing.Very Good The record has obviously received some play, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite the odd surface mark here and there. Minor wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any problems and still well above acceptable condition.Good The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some slight distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from some folding, scuffing of edges, discolouration, staining etcFair The record is still  playable but has not been cared for properly and displays far more notable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents may have more notable staining or defacing.Poor The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missingBad The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
