THE STOOGES 1st 1969 ELEKTRA EKS-74051 Iggy Pop. 1st issue pressed at Monarch L.A. The center label has "The Stooges" under the Elektra logo which typically indicates a second pressing from 1970, but the Discogs listing for the Monarch indicates this is a 1969 1st  pressing. Records pressed at the Monarch facility have a great reputation for quality sound and this copy is no exception, loud and bold!! Shipping is free for United States buyers, shipped 2 day priority in proper packaging.

Vinyl plays VG but there are two skips, one at beginning of "1969", the skip ends up on the beat, so was hard to notice at first. Of course this may not skip on your system, I am using a direct drive Technics with 2 grams of weight on the arm. The other skip is on side 2 near the beginning of "Real Cool Time". The rest of the record is VG, really loud punchy audio.
Cover is in G+ with a cutout hole and segment. There is faint pen writing "Gary + Viola" written on the front cover, hard to notice on the dark background. The name "Bill Hood" is faintly etched into the front, again hard to see. Wear around the edges but seams are intact, creasing on all sides.
