I do not recall this as ever been played. Obtained when I was a record buyer for Keith Prowse Music in the late 1960's. Extremely rare and possibly unique. A real find and one for the serious collector.

Down Beat was a British independent rocksteady label run by Clancy Collins a.k.a Sir Collins. Set up in 1967 and released both Clancy Collins and Bunny Lee productions until the shutdown in 1968. It's still unclear if all the releases on Collins Down Beat were recorded in the UK or if merely used rhythm tracks recorded in Jamaica with the vocals being added in London. There were only 17 releases and this is the second. Clancy Collins was a British Jamaican sound system owner and producer. He run a record stall in Petticoat Lane.
The B side is an early recording by the Uniques who were a Jamaican vocal group formed in late 1960's by with and . Shirley and White left and were replaced by and (aka ). Disbanded after Slim Smith went solo, Jimmy Riley reformed the band in 1978 with , then joined by in 1997.
