The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night

(Parlophone PMC 1230 UK LP 1964)

This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which is printed by "Garrod & Lofthouse". It has a mid sized "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Parlophone Co. Ltd...", "recording First..." and "Sold in UK..." texts. The record has 1st press XEX 481-3N and XEX 482-3N matrix numbers. The mother stampers are GLO 2 and GHP 3 respectively. A genuine UK Mono 1st pressing.


Sleeve: There is some mild fading on the rear sleeve. There is a small area of rubbing wear to the top of the bottom flipback. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear at the sleeve opening. There is a 0.5 cm seam split at the bottom edge at the sleeve opening. There is some light or mild ringwear. VG condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild & more moderate, in places, sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 5 light hairline marks. They measure from 0.5 cm to 8 cm in length. VG- condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear. The Emitex company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits. 

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
