Thrice, the American post-hardcore band from Irvine, California, formed in 1998. The group was founded by guitarist/vocalist Dustin Kensrue and guitarist Teppei Teranishi while they were in high school. Early on the band were known for fast, hard music based in heavily distorted guitars, prominent lead guitar lines, and frequent changes in complex time signatures. While still a member of Thrice, Dustin Kensrue released his first solo album on Equal Vision Records in January, 2007, titled Please Come Home. The album was recorded in the studio of Thrice lead guitarist Teppei Teranishi, who also played piano and organ on the album. Electric guitars and drums were recorded by long-time friend and Thrice guitar technician, Chris Jones.

Celebrating the 10+ year anniversary of his solo release 'Please Come Home', Dustin Kensrue has released a limited one time run of 2,000 units of PINK VINYL for this year's Ten Bands One Cause pink vinyl charity campaign to support Gilda's Club NYC.
