QUEEN A NIGHT AT THE OPERA FIRST PRESS VINYL LP (NM) ‘Blairs’ RARE.

A stunning Queen collectors item that has been very well looked after indeed.

here is a full and honest description...

Very white NEAR MINT gatefold sleeve.

Only things to note and what prevents a MINT grading is a small blue spect on front (next to the embossed artwork). This can be seen on the photo. It looks to be a tiny blue ink smudge maybe. The only other thing to note is a very fine indent the size of a grain of rice. This is located 1cm above the word ‘Opera’ running horizontally. This is very hard to see in the photo would be easily missed on first inspection. Nevertheless it is there and I feel should be pointed out. There’s a few other light unnoticeable marks in places but you’d need a magnifying glass to see them. Overall I would say Near Mint is a fair grade. Excellent+ of you were being extremely picky. The white really is White. Not yellowing like nearly 99% of these.

Once you open the gatefold you are presented with the song titles and lyrics. This is absolute pristine, pure white a thing of beauty. The best I’ve seen condition wise, like New.

The inner sleeve which houses the vinyl once again is clean and beautiful, like new!!!

The Vinyl..

(NM) This is clearly a very early first pressing as it has the ‘Blairs’ cut. Both sides are beautiful, clean and doesn’t get much better. The previous owner informed me it has had less than half a dozen plays. The condition reflects. Near mint/mint. I played side one in its entirety and it was flawless!!!

All in all a wonderful piece this, deserves to go to a hardcore queen collector.
