The Jay-Jays sole LP (originally released on Philips in 1966) is a high point of Dutch Beat, combining crunchy, Kinks-esque rhythms with melodic folk touches. This new edition (expertly mastered from the original tapes) thankfully utilises the far superior mono mixes (weak stereo mixes have previously appeared on CD), and adds 4 non-LP tracks as bonuses, including an unreleased demo of "Are You A Woman"!
