The 2nd LP from Dutch beat/psych legends, GROUP/GROEP 1850, taped in late '69 and originally released on Discofoon in early '70, has long been held in very high regard by those in the know, as one of the greatest psychedelic LPs to emerge from Europe in the late 60s/early 70s. A wide-eyed, wide-open, synapse-electrifying set of songs, it sounds like the transmissions of a burnt-out satellite spinning through the galaxies of inner space. Band leader Peter Sjardin skillfully edited the group's free-flowing improvisations into eight cohesive, yet distinctly different tracks, part 'Saucerful Of Secrets', part 'Electric Ladyland', part Guru Guru, part 'Monster Movie'-era Can.
