Excellent (EX) : They are almost clean condition. Slightly marks and hairlines does not much influence the sound. no problem to play. 

Very Good Plus(VG+) : The record has light scratches or light scuffs, Sometimes these slight defects may influence sound. but no problem to play.

Very Good (VG) : It is worse than the above, There is some noise. but there are no needle jumps. There is some noise. 

Good (G) : It is worse than the above. can be play. There is some noise.  etc.. 

COVER GRADING :

Sealed (S) : Record is still sealed.

Mint (M) : Brand new. 

Near Mint (NM) : Almost brand new. The Cover does not have any folds, scratches, cracks, spots, or other similar folds.                                          

Excellent (EX) : Beautiful Shape. Just a few light rubbing, spots, lines, etc. Extremely minor damages. 

VG+ (Very good plus) : Very Good shape. but the cover may have minor damages.  light lines, folds, scratches, cracks, spots, some writing, some tape or sticker (or traces of such) and ring wear etc. 

VG (Very good) : It is worse than the above, The Cover may have some damages. light lines, folds, scratches, cracks, spots, some writing, some tape or sticker (or traces of such) and ring wear. Repaired.

G (Good) : It is worse than the above,The Cover has striking folds, scratches, cracks, spots, ring wear, some writing, scotch tape, or stickers.
