records are in excellent condition. They have spindle marks on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs, fading
or stains anywhere. There is no serious wear around the centres and overall
the dark green Apple label are clean, bright and in nice condition with no major issues but some spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, all four sides are nice and clean overall with a good lustre and nothing really serious or major showing. There is a few light lines in places, the odd light blotchy mark/smudge and light signs of age/handling but there is certainly nothing deep or major. These used 50+ year old vinyls are not pristine but are certainly far from covered in lines and are in nice tidy condition. There is some light and minor lines in places and mild signs of use/age showing but they are not heavily used and are in nice tidy condition.
both the records and they played well with nice clarity and no major levels of interference. They both lay flat on the deck with little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is free from skips, sticks or loud annoying clicks and is generally nice and clear. There is the odd most minor trace of surface noise or splutter in places but nothing at all severe or disruptive. I also noted 8 light, but audible, tics at the very start of the last track on side 3. Other than these it plays really well with a lovely warm sound and no real surface noise during play, just the most slight trace in the run ins and between some tracks. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable listen, with the few light tics as mentioned but other than this hardly any interference of note.
The top loading laminated gatefold numbered(0611997) sleeve is in excellent condition. It has no stand out issues such as tears, pen marks, scuffs or splits. It is strong all round with no major issues but does have some general signs of age. There is light wear and bruising to the edges and corners, but nothing severe and the spine is all still legible. There is light ring marks and some minor laminate 'scratching' to both sides but these are minor issues. There is also some age related discolouring to both the front, rear and inside. Overall a nice tidy and strong sleeve with no stand out issues but some light signs of age as outlined. I have tried my best to describe the sleeve but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains both its original plain black inners which are in very good condition. They are solid with no splits but both have creasing, ring marks and signs of age. One has a small tear to the central window and the other has a small scuff to one side. The records will be sent in two brand new plain white replacement inners to ensure no further damage occurs to the originals.
Also included are the 4 photo inserts. These are in near mint condition with no tears, pen marks or heavy signs of handling.
The large fold out poster is also included and is in excellent condition. It has no tears, pen marks or major issues but has some minor and slight signs of age/storage.
