Vinyl record flattening service. Hi, warped records happen for various reasons mainly due to incorrect storage and can happen to anyone, even newly purchased records can have some degree of warp. Records in a warped distorted condition are a strain on equipment causing skips and sliding,resulting in damage or premature stylus wear, distortion in quality of sound is also affected, in addition could actually cause warp to their neighbouring records when placed in storage next to them, because of these reasons warped distorted vinyls are usually rendered unplayable and consequently have to be scrapped. The Orb flattening machine is specifically designed to combat this annoying condition.  The service I offer is to professionally clean, flatten and return your record in a acid free polythene lined record liner. The flattening process takes four hours per record. two hours to heat up two hours to cool down. However depending on how long the record has been warped and to what degree no absolute guarantee can be given that it can be flattened. I will make up to three attempts to flatten your record if after the third attempt your record is still warped then it can't be flattened, you are paying for the service. 12" o r 7" records only, I don't accept shellac 78 rpm records, or records of 180 grams and above, please do not send a record of one millimetre distortion as this is an acceptable tolerance when first produced. Postage to me is made by you, you will save on postage cost by posting up to three records for the same price as one. Free postage from me to you applies to u.k only, other postage costs would apply and will vary. you can drop off and collect but its not a while you wait service.
