For sale is Kenny Loggins with Jim Messina Sittin', originally released in 1971 by Columbia Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers 1-G/1-F, signifying that an early stamper was used to make this first edition, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put this album into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with this release. The inner sleeve is graded as VG+ because of oxidation and a wrinkled/bent corner. The cover is graded as VG because of ring wear, corner blunts, edge rubs and two seam splits on the bottom of the jacket. One corner seam split extends 1" up the spine and 4" from the lower left corner. There is a 1" seam split at the lower right hand corner. The spine has color loss and paper loss at the corners from rubs. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of a faint surface scratch on Side Two. The vinyl is play graded as VG+ because of an occasional pop during playback and some rotational ticking during the first minute of "Back To Georgia". This is still one of the best copies of this hard to find album that I have ever seen or heard. You would be hard pressed to find one in this condition, being that it is an original first pressing. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. Please take a look at my other Rock and Roll albums, as well all records of all genres in my Ebay store. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.
I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
