Late 70s Early 80s
New Wave / Rockabilly
Lot of 6 LPs This listing includes 9 photographs,  kindly view them all. NO BAR CODES!
While these were all released in late 70s, I think of them as 80s music, as they
all got much airplay (on my hip alternative
station) during the 80s.
  1) Nick Lowe - Labour of Lust
Jacket shows a little dirt, not much,
slight and short creases. Inner sleeve
is plain white, not slit. Vinyl is still shiny, has some smudges and a very slight
needle mishap over tracks 5 & 6 on side
1. Spindle marks on the label indicate
that this was played several times.
I doubt any of these will show up in sound, unless your needle tracks
very lightly. Jacket is VG+, Vinyl is VG+
2) The Cars - Self titled first album,
jacket looks great, still nice and shiny, bottom edge has some wear, and
overall very slight shelf wear. Inner sleeve is original, features the lyrics and is not slit. Vinyl also nice and
shiny, few surface smudges, nothing
major. Jacket = EX to NM-, Vinyl = EX
3) The Cars - Candy-O - Jacket has small bits of dirt and a couple of creases.
I am guessing we used this copy for in
store play. Inner sleeve is original and shows much wear. It has a slit in the
bottom, looks more beat up than the vinyl! Vinyl is nice and shiny with a
small amount of scuffing and a few
smudges, all surface. Seriously doubt any
of this would result in listening problems.
Jacket = VG, Vinyl = VG+  to EX.
4) Rockabilly Rules OK? - On Charly
Records - Jacket nice and shiny, one large straight scrape only visible when I hold it at a certain angle to the light.
Slight shelf wear on top, and top two corners slightly dinged. Inner sleeve plain white paper, not slit. Vinyl is beautiful, surface dust only, possibly
never touched by a needle. Jacket = EX, Vinyl = NM-
5) Martha and the Muffins - Metro Music
PROMO, Jacket has sticker, which someone
stupidly attempted to remove leaving a mess.
Jacket also has Promo Stamp and cut
corner. Inner paper sleeve is cheap and wrinkled, but not slit, vinyl looks great,
still shiny with surface dust. I cannot clean surface dust b/c no DiscCleaner
or turntable anymore. Sorry. :(
Jacket is G+, Vinyl is EX to NM-.
6) Blondie - Parallel Lines - Jacket
shows some wear, not bad, hand marks, some dirt on back, slight scuffing and scraping.  Inner sleeve is original, includes lyrics and has a 2" slit on the bottom. Vinyl shows
usage. This could have been an in store play copy. Scuffs, and marks all appear to be on the surface, might
result in some noise, can't be sure
without a turntable. Jacket = VG, Vinyl = G to VG

My Collection: I acquired most of this vinyl between 
1979 - 1983 when I worked at the record store. My  records have always been very well stored, most 
in protective plastic sleeves. I have not had a  turntable for over 15 years, so I cannot guarantee
 every track is defect free, I can only tell you that I 
handled my records with obsessive care when I 
did have a turntable, and defects are 
highly  unlikely. The grades in this listing 
are visually  inspected under bright light only.
