LED ZEPPELIN II RL Robert Lidwig HOT Mix 1969 1st U.S. edition Specialty Pressing SRC as indicated by the SP on the labels and runouts. 1841 Broadway address on labels. True first pressing that was soon removed from production because of the extreme mix levels. When reissued, much of the bass was removed from subsequent pressings. Robert Ludwig HOT MIX with "RL" in the dead wax on both sides, "SS" on deadwax on Side 2. FULLY PLAY TESTED for accurate description of condition.
VINYL in VG condition, very close to VG+!!!! Played all the way through. There are numerous light scuffs/hairlines but plays GREAT!! The louder mix shines through these RL pressings and this is no exception. There is a short jump at the beginning of "Whole Lotta Love right at the start of the middle section, not super apparent, took me a few to realize it was a skip. There is a section in the middle of "Lemon Song" where there is about 10 clicks from a scratch, again not horrible.  The record has very moderate groove wear especially towards the end that is pretty common for this pressing and is not too bad. I listened with the treble full on to listen for issues and still plays great, solid as hell VG. side ONE a bit crackly at first then cleans up to more VG+ toward the end. Side two more like VG+ all the way, no issues at all.
COVER in VG condition with yellowing/rubbing, some paper loss and a 3" split in the midle of the gatefold (see photos), the top seam is split almost all the way, but the bottom seam and spine are intact. wear around the edges.
INNER SLEEVE in VG, split on one side, yellowing.
