GRADING OF VINYL RECORDS & PACKAGING:

MINT (M) - The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any contents such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. NEAR MINT (NM) - The record shows little sign of having been played, with no noticeable lessening in sound quality. The cover and contents may have very slight wear, creasing or be very lightly aged. EXCELLENT (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and contents may have light wear, creasing or be lightly aged. VERY GOOD (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times, but shows no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear, tear and ageing on the cover or extra items, without major defects, is to be expected. GOOD (G) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality may have deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. NOTE: (use of + or -) (e.g. NM-) - Used to indicate some (normally minor) deviation from the descriptions used above.
