For sale is a vinyl record by Chad Jackson titled "Hear The Drummer (Get Wicked)", originally released in 1978 by ATCO Records as a 12" 33 1/3 RPM Maxi-Single. This listing is a promotional copy that says on the labels "Promotional Copy Not For Sale". In the dead wax between the labels and the end of the track is etched "cg peace sign icon", then machine stamped "S" with a smaller "R" and "C" inside its coils, indicating that this record was mastered at The Hit Factory in New York City, N.Y. by Chris Gehringer before this record was made at Specialty Records Corporation's pressing plant, located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after my collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, protecting the integrity of the vinyl and any inner sleeve that came with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint with shiny, bright surfaces in a like-new condition, without any smudges, surface scratches or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading this record as Near Mint, without any surface noise, pops or skips from start to finish. The cover, which is a generic die-cut sleeve, is graded as Excellent because of a notch cut into the spine.  This is the best copy of this hard to find record that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find a promotional copy like this one. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I have other 12" 33 1/3 RPM Maxi-singles, as well as albums of all different genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
