This is a 1958 UK original LP pressing. This is the very earliest UK pressing which has an 8 page booklet stapled inside. All subsequent UK pressings only had a 4 page booklet.

 It has a front laminated gatefold sleeve which, as stated, has an 8 page booklet stapled inside. The front sleeve is printed on thinner style card. It comes with its original polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has red & silver "RCA Red Seal" labels. These are deep grooved also. The record has 1st press H2WP-8398-1A and H2WP-8399-1A matrix numbers. 

A genuine UK 1st pressing. These are quite rare.


Sleeve: There is a 3 cm seam split at the top of the spine. There is moderate rubbing wear to the spine in general. There is mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the top page edge of the front sleeve. There is mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom page edge of the front sleeve. There is mild to more moderate ringwear on the rear sleeve. There is mild to moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. The Booklet is totally complete & has no loose pages or tears. The staples have not rusted. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing on the pages - in line with the rest of the sleeve. Overall, Good+ condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The poly-lined inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild surface marks on some areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. There are 5 small and light hairline marks. These measure from 0.5 cm to 2.5 cm in length. VG condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show moderate spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG overall & VG+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is more noticeable in the quieter places. The music still shines through! There are no noticeable clicks or pops.
