Jimmy Campbell - Half Baked

(Vertigo 6360 010 UK LP 1970)

This is a UK original 1970 LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original polythene lined "Swirl" company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has spiral "Vertigo" labels. These have a large swirl logo on Side 2's label. The record has 1st press 1Y#-3/ 2Y#-1 matrix stampers. A great early 1970's Prog-Pop-Psych-Folk LP.



Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild to moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge and corner tips. There is a 5 cm area of moderate rubbing wear to the spine - near the bottom. There are a couple of other areas of mild rubbing wear on the spine too. There is a small area of mild to more moderate rippling wear which goes through the sleeve. This is at the top opening area. There is a small tear in the bottom left corner. VG- condition

Vinyl: A well played copy. There are some light mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is an area of moderate rub marks on one side. There are about 8 light hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 5 cm in length. Good condition. The labels are in VG++ condition & show mild spindle wear. The "swirl" company inner sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is some moderate fading. There is some mild or more moderate ringwear & creasing. There is a small tear at the die-cut area on one side.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Good to VG overall. There is some light, mild or more moderate crackle in the background. This is more noticeable on the quieter passages. There are a few areas of more moderate crackle too. These do not last too long. There are some intermittent light or very mild intermittent clicks on the 4th track on Side 1. These do not last too long. There are a very few light or mild clicks in a couple of separate places on Side 2. It does not jump or skip. Overall, this is a crackly but serviceable copy. So please be aware of this when bidding.
