This is a very good copy of this rare record. At first glance the vinyl looks mint but if you hold it up in the light you can see slight needle marks. I imagine this will play very nicely but I do not personally have a turntable anymore so I am not able to test it out.

The gatefold is still in plastic and is in very good condition. There is no inner sleeve, the record fits right into the cardboard but has been kept in excellent condition over the years.

From discogs (this may or may not apply to this exact pressing but is a nice general summary of this release):

“Alice Namakelua’s first album as an artist, at the age of 82. While she had written many songs throughout her life (at least 175 according to Jean Sullivan's liner notes), this was the first time she was brought in the studio to record her own compositions. Most of the songs are just Nakakelua singing and playing guitar or 'ukulele, while others feature accompaniment.

The album was initially sold during the holiday season of 1974 in conjunction with Love's Bakery on Oahu. If you were to go to one of their bakery outlets, you could purchase the album along with a loaf of bread or bread rolls. A brief message and the Love's logo was printed in red within the gatefold cover.”

If you have any questions please let me know, I will ship this in good quality cardboard.
