The sound quality on the is miles ahead of the US version the sound is crisp and clear not muddy like the US version.
A few years ago the was a UK bootleg version that was a one to one copy they are very close to the originals but the cover printing is darker. This is 100% original.
In May 1968, John and Yoko recorded there first music together. John wanted it to be the first Lp release from Apple. It took so long to talk the other Beatles into letting him release it that George Harrison's Wonderwall Music  became the first Apple Lp (Sapcor 1).
EMI refused to handle the Cover but gladly charged Apple to press just 5000 copies.
Apple found a small Litho company to print the Covers. TECHNINK with the added credit Photos by John Lennon. They never printed Lp covers before and used a very thin laminated paper stock.
EMI and Technink sent the records and the cover to Apple Headquarters No. 3 Saville Road.
Derek Taylor got the Apple Scruffs to place the vinyl in the covers, and The Who and Jimi Hendrix's Label TRACK Records handled the distribution.
So there were only 5000 made, one of the smallest runs of a beatle related record at EMI.
