DESCRIPTION
Shoegazer - “Intoxicated Birthday Lies” Todo O Nada TV TV1140 / TC 1140 (Stereo) from 1998. Great unknown Alternative / Indie / Emo / Screamo / Punk Rock from Shoegazer. I don’t know much about this Band out of L.A. but they are decidedly NOT Shoegaze music! The music covers a fair amount of Alt / Indie / Punk ground but “Emo before Emo” is a quote from a review that seems reasonable. If you Google them you will find this album named in several places as one of, if not THE, Best Overlooked LPs of the 1990’s. Since this copy is Sealed and the LP is pretty obscure I am having some trouble verifying the exact contents. I believe that the only pressing of this album was on White Vinyl and it is supposed to include an Insert Sheet. Also, all info I have found lists the Release Date as 1998 and the Catalog Number as TV1140 while on the Sleeve the Copyright Date is 1997 and on the spine of the Sleeve the Catalog Number is TC 1140. Who knows?! Unlike most copies of this great LP, NO Cutouts!

CONDITION

In NEW, SEALED condition in its Original Shrink Wrap. The Shrink Wrap is slightly pulled back / open along the top seam but it is clearly still sealed and there is no damage or wear there. There is some very slight corner softening and a small bump / crease in the upper left corner. Beyond those very minor items, pretty much perfect and easily Near Mint. Please note - Sealed Records are assumed to have Mint Vinyl by definition. Because there is no way to check the condition of the Vinyl without opening they are not returnable!

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less!
