DESCRIPTION

The Peddlers - “The Very Best Of The Peddlers” CBS Records (New Zealand) SBP 473951 (Stereo) from 1972. Hard to find New Zealand Import R&B / Blues / Jazz Pop album by The Peddlers. As far as I know, this great Compilation was never issued outside of New Zealand.

CONDITION

The Sleeve is still in good shape. There is basic shelf wear, corner softening and creasing around the edges. There is a name written faintly on the drum head in the picture on the front, not very noticable. Still solid with no other writing, splits, stains, tears, cutouts, etc. and I would rate it as VG. The Vinyl is in Pristine Glossy condition looking very lightly played. If you look closely you can spot a couple light scuffs but very close to New condition. Plays great Near Mint all through. I’m calling it EX to account for the small visual flaws but could probably just as easily be Near Mint. The Labels show a few light spindle trails on the B-Side but are otherwise Near Mint.

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. I provide Play Grades as a courtesy but only guarantee the Visual Grade. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
