DESCRIPTION
Chiemi Eri - 江利チエミ - “Best Album  - ベスト·アルバム” King Records SKA-5 (Stereo) from 1971. Hard To Find Japanese Import Female Vocal Pop / Ballad / Greatest Hits album from the great Japanese Singer Chiemi Eri (aka 江利チエミ) . “Beat Album” or as we in the U.S. would know it “Greatest Hits”. Sung in English, Japanese and Turkish (just one song). In a cool Die-cut Textured Gatefold Cover with a Four Page Full Color Lyric and Picture Booklet. NO Cutouts or Promo markings!

CONDITION

The Die-cut Textured Gatefold cover is in nice condition. There is some slight basic shelf wear - mostly just a little dirtiness on the light colored cover. I think there might be a bit of sun fading along the spine but it’s hard to be slure due to the light color. Still very solid with no splits, stains, writing, tears, cutouts, etc. and should easily rate at least VG+ if not better. The vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking very lightly played, at first glance looks New. If you look closely you can spot a few slight scuffs plays mostly EX to Near Mint but there are some spots of groove noise and soft tics near the start of both sides - might just need a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher brush. I would still say EX overall. The labels show a couple light spindle trails but are otherwise Near Mint. There is no OBI.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
