LED ZEPPELIN I 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING PLUM A1 B1 ATLANTIC 588171 Nice shape and excellent sound quality.
Early British pressing featuring plumb labels and no Superhype credit. According to Discogs, this is version 6 featuring the grey stripe on the bottom of the front cover and Warner Bros/7 Arts Publishing credits printed in one line on the labels. A1 B1 in the dead wax further indicated this as an early pressing.
VINYL in VG/VG+ condition, fully play tested there are numerous very light hairlines that produce some background crackle that veers between VG+ and VG at times tough in my opinion this is a solid VG+ listening experience. I have listened to this on headphones as well, and even on quieter tracks like "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", the background crackle does not interfere with the listening experience. Previous owner's name written in pen on one label (see photos).
The mastering on these UK pressing differ from the U.S. versions i my opinion. The UK edition is more detailed not as processed as the U.S. The U.S. version is louder and punchier, but not as detailed and pleasing.
COVER in VG with some spots where the lamination is coming up on the back cover near the sine, creasing in the corners and along the spine, creasing in the lamination on front cover, corner bumps, some wear along the opening edge. Thin cardboard UK style with laminated back and front.
