The Allman Brothers Band continue to be known as one of the original rock super groups of the late sixties who have a knack of mastering rock and blues grooves drenched in gospel, soul and country rock. With a plethora of amazing albums over their career spanning nearly five decades, The Allmans have truly created some of the finest music ever waxed for the classic rock era.
After a ten year hiatus, The Allman Brothers greeted the new decade (1990) with a smokin' new line-up, a new label, and great new recording with Seven Turns. This stunning Epic Records debut release featured a good amount of AOR radio classic like the top ten title track Seven Turns, Dickey Betts' and Warren Haynes' stellar Loaded Dice, the magnificent instrumental True Gravity, plus a surprise #1 hit rock single with the Gregg Allman / Dickey Betts / Johnny Neel southern rock classic Good Clean Fun. Augmented with three new band members - the legendary Warren Haynes on guitar, the late great Allen Woody on bass and Johnny Neel on keys, this top selling rock classic hasn't been available on vinyl for many decades... that is until now.
Friday Music proudly releases for the first time this stunning 180g Audiophile Vinyl and gatefold cover presentation of Seven Turns by The Allman Brother Band. Mastered impeccably by Joe Reagoso at Friday Music Studios and Capitol Mastering in Hollywood and manufactured at R.T.I., this limited edition 1990 classic truly reaches sonic heights in the audiophile vinyl domain. The package also includes original artwork elements and photos not seen in LP cover form in years.
