Lot of 15 ROCK LP's -  Lower Grade

The vinyl generally appears VG, some in the Good / VG- range. The covers generally appear VG to VG+ with some exceptions due to seam split, wear, writing, stain, etc..These albums have not been play tested so expect possible pop, tic or light surface noise as there are some surface marks from use. The albums will come with inner sleeves as well as outer plastic sleeves. They have all been lightly cleaned but not graded and are pretty much ready to go with the presumption they are definitely less than top grade condition.

GRADING  -  RECORDS
We use Goldmine visual grading.
MINT (M)
Absolutely perfect in every way; a designation that is rarely, if ever, used.

NEAR MINT (NM)
The highest grade for opened records. Extraordinarily clean and quiet.
 Record is like new, shiny (high gloss) with no visible defects. If played, it will do so with no surface noise.

VERY GOOD ++ (VG++)
 Record is in excellent condition;  exhibits original high gloss, may show some slight signs of wear including a couple of light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience.

VERY GOOD + (VG+)
As above,  but may show slightly increased signs of wear while maintaining  a clean, shiny appearance.  Does exhibit a few light visual marks from play and may show minor signs of handling such as light spindle marks.  May have occasional, unobtrusive light surface noise.

VERY GOOD (VG)
Many of the imperfections found on a VG+ record are more obvious on a VG record. Record has been well played and may lack the high degree of original gloss. Groove wear may be evident on sight, as are light scratches. Record will exhibit some surface noise and some light scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise. Record will play-through well.

GRADING  -  COVERS
NEAR MINT (NM)
Covers have no creases, ring wear or seam splits.  No markings, scratches or scuffs. Clean and sharp graphics.

VERY GOOD ++ (VG++)
Cover will be clean, bright and crisp; may show very slight ring wear and/or edge wear, may exhibit very slight creases to the corners but not wrinkled. No markings or seam splits.

VERY GOOD + (VG+)
Cover will be clean and bright, should have only minor general wear overall.  May have slight seam wear or a split (less than one inch long). May have some minor marking or defacing such as a cut corner, saw cut or small punch-hole, light crease. Some minor edge wear to the seams or spine

VERY GOOD (VG)
Cover will show many signs of handling.  Ring wear will be obvious but not overwhelming. Moderate creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious and may appear on more than one side though the split(s) will be "clean" and not obvious upon looking.  Cover may have small markings on it.
