Collectors, here is a super fun disc, Edison Diamond Disc 51611 circa late 1925. Featuring Vernon Dalhart with his usual sidekicks, Murray Kellner on violin and the well known Carson Robison on guitar. A side is the famous tune "Casey Jones". B side (label missing) is "Got the Railroad Blues", sung by Gene Austin. Fun listening, Mr. Dalhart sings many, many verses of the song, very enjoyable. The record plays fairly well, there is surface noise. There are two small edge chips that do not affect play, the one label still there is solidly attached to the record. Late 1925 is towards the end of Diamond Disc production, the company ceased operations by mid 1929, this is not an easy record to find! Add this one to your record stack! Sensible buy it now price, go for it!!!
