The Beatles - White Album

(Apple PCS 7067-68 UK Double LP 1968)

This is a UK original Stereo Double LP pressing. It has a fully laminated, Top Opening, gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks. The lettering is embossed on the front & it is numbered (No: 0387138) on the front also. There is a small printed "Stereo" on the rear sleeve. It comes with its original plain black paper "Apple" inner sleeves. It comes complete with its original fold-out Picture/ Lyric Poster. The four Portrait Photos are missing.

The records have dark green "Apple" labels which have the "Sold in UK..." text on all 4 labels. The matrix numbers & mother stampers are as follows:

Side 1: YEX 709-1 (RT 4)
Side 2: YEX 710-1 (LD 1)
   Side 3: YEX 711-1 (GOL 3)
    Side 4: YEX 712-1 (GAO 4)

A genuine UK 1st press double Stereo LP. It has the earliest matrix numbers. It is a reasonable audio copy too.


Gatefold Sleeve: There are three noticeable scratch marks on the front & one on the rear (see photos). There is a very small red stain on the front too. There is a 3 cm area of moderate rubbing wear at the centre of t he spine. It has caused a small 3 cm tear to the laminate at this area (see photo). There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & staining on some areas too. Good++ condition

Vinyl 1: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 12 light hairline marks. They are mainly quite small & measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. The paper inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild marks on some areas. Good condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only. The plain black company inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There is a small tear at the die-cut area & top opening on one side. There is a small 3 cm seam split at the centre of one side only.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only noticeable in the quietest places. There are 3 or 4 mild clicks on the 1st track on Side 1. There are no other noticeable clicks or pops. 

Vinyl 2: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 6 light hairline marks. They are mainly quite small. The paper inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild marks on some areas. Good++ condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only. The plain black company inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There is a small tear at the top opening on one side. There are no seam splits. 
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only noticeable in the quietest places. There are a few intermittent light or mild clicks on "Revolution No. 9". They do not last too long. Otherwise, there are no other noticeable clicks or pops. 

The Fold-Out Lyric Poster is in Fair+ condition. There are some seam splits on several areas & the poster is barely together along several seams. It will, in all likelihood, fall apart before too long. There are tape stains on some areas too.   

I shall place both records in a separate plain paper inner sleeve to protect the original inner sleeves from any damage during transit.
