Collectors, here is another rare and interesting record, RCA Victor Italy Red Seal 10 inch 78 #DR 102. circa 1935(?).  Legendary Italian tenor Francesco Tamagno sings two famous arias from "Andrea Chenier" and "Il Trovatore", with piano.  The record shows little wear, plays loud and very well, you will enjoy it.
When he died suddenly in 1905, Mr. Tamagno was the most famous tenor in the world.  Caruso was coming up in the world and had not yet sung in America.  Victor in Europe went to Tamagno's Italian villa in 1903 and recorded about ten selections with piano, orchestra recording not being common at that time.  In the USA, by contract these single sided Red Seal ten inch records sold for the HUGE sum of $5 each!!  They were not reduced in price in 1919, when Victor lowered prices on almost the whole Red Seal catalog.  At least some of Tamagno's recordings remained in the Victor catalog through the early 1920's at the $5 price!!  
Looking at this record, my guess is that it was made in the mid-1930's.  Tamagno has a "lighter" tenor voice than Caruso. Compare his Verdi version to the Caruso performance; you will like both, but be amazed at the difference!  I will also include for you the pictured record sleeve; one side has an illustration of a portable phonograph that is clearly, in my view, from the 1930's. In over 40 years of collecting Victrolas and records, I have never seen anything like this!  There can't be too many of these in America, 85 years or so after its release!  If you like what you see, do not pass this up, who knows when another one will come up for sale!  Sensible buy it now price given what I have here, go for it!!!
