This listing is for a promo copy of "Old & In The Way" by The Grateful Dead. From Jerry Garcia's short-lived backcountry bluegrass act, this was recorded in 1973 featuring Mandolin player David Grisman. The quintet only released this record but the sound caught on with Grateful Dead fans and the record actually built up the group's legacy long after they disbanded.
The record has been checked for quality and sound. It has been through a simple cleaning process and is in excellent condition (please refer to pictures).
LABEL : United Artists, RX-103
COUNTRY : US
YEAR : 1973
VINYL condition ( visual grading ) : VG++
COVER condition : VG+ (record is in a generic inside sleeve)
Excellent (VG++) - A good description of a VG++ record is it looks like it has minimal to no wear, no scratches but some very slight signs of use.
Very Good Plus (VG+) - VG+ covers have minor wear. They may have some very minor ring wear, seam wear, or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom or top, the most vulnerable locations. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking or some writing on it.
