BOB Marley and The Wailers - LEGEND, the best of Marley and The Wailers collection. Island Records.  Originally released in 1984, this copy is a reissue from the second pressing of 1986, which features five remixed tracks. It's a bit of a rare copy, the Specialty Pressing with the Gatefold: "ST-IL-845507-B" etched in grooves of Side One and "ST-IL-845508-A" on Side Two. Vinyl condition is Fair+ to Good: You'll see many scratches on vinyl and a few deeper marks/nicks as well as long hairlines and general wear (faded plastic). This copy was listened to by me about a million times, but it's still alive and playing, and it plays well for a good chunk of the record. You'll hear surface noise at times from the wear, and there's clicking for about half of "No Woman No Cry," where there's a visible ding. But it doesn't skip, which is why I'm listing it here. It makes a great starter copy or second copy for the Marley/Wailers fan. Cover condition is solid, in the Good to VG range: Front cover is mostly clean except for ring wear above Marley's face and a few creases/nicks; Back cover has a few marks/creases and ring wear at the top plus the price tag from the record store (from around '93 lol); Center Gatefold is in really nice condition, with only minor wear. All 6 edges (2 bottom, 2 top, 2 side) have some shelf but are all intact, as is the spine, which has a bit more shelf wear. Record comes in cardboard sleeve showcasing small photos of Island albums by Marley and other artists.
