This auction is for two (2) volumes of the Beethoven Bicentennial Collection from Time Life Records. Volume #8 of the Beethoven Bicentennial Collection from Time Life Records that focuses on Beethoven's Music For Pianos. Both were released in 1971 in association with Beethoven Archive Bonn and Deutsche Grammaphon and includes five (5) LP's in each set and are in exceptional condition. The works are performed by Wilhelm Kempff, Norman Shetler, Jorge Demus and Geza Anda with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with Volume #3 dealing with Beethoven's Concertos like Emperor while Volume #8 focuses on his Music For Pianos. The slipcases are in perfect condition with square corners and each one comes with a small 8-page booklet that goes into detail about each selection.
