MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original Philips Records very first Mono Extended Play press released, made and distributed in Spain in 1966 by Philips Records, catalog number 452 057 BE, with machine etched matrix numbers 850 452057 E=1 in Side 1 and 850 4520572 E=1in Side 2, with traditional black/silver Philips Records labels of the period and large center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

The first to tell about this 4-Tracks EP by The Four Seasons is that as far as I know it was ONLY RELEASED IN SPAIN and it includes the single “I've Got You Under My Skin” (released in USA in August 1966, with “Huggin' My Pillow” as Side B) in Side A and other 2 songs, not released as single, in Side 2, one of them a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Like A Rolling Stone” (from the 1965 LP “The 4 Seasons Sing Big Hits By Burt Bacharach/Hal David/Bob Dylan”). Song titles are written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters and additional information about the tax law applicable in Spain, rights society and play time of each song. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE and UNIQUE SPANISH 4-Tracks EP by The Four Seasons, with song titles written in Spanish and with a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Like A Rolling Stone”, a record rarely seen and A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of The Four Seasons, Bob Dylan, Cole Porter and R&B/Soul Pop music!!!

This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in G+ or VG- condition both sides, glossy and clean, with loads and loads of scuffs, hairlines and small scratches, which could make you think the record won’t play properly but amazingly they don’t affect play at all. Labels are in great EX+ or NM- condition both sides, with some minimal spindle hole wear and a faint blemish in Side 2, over the “2”. The sound is in strong G+ or VG- condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with constant soft crackles and regular light clicks and pops, which could cause some distraction but it keeps loud and clear from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is not a record for Minty minds or audiophiles, but for sure in spite of all the flaws informed this record still keeps a glossy look, almost immaculate labels and a decent and respectable sound quality after about 55 years, which shouldn’t disappoint anyone and could satisfy any serious collector who knows the real level of rarity of this EP by The Four Seasons ONLY RELEASED IN SPAIN in spite of the “noise” present!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

___________________________________________

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
