ELVIS PRESLEY
With The Jordanaires
SIDE A: DEVUELVASE AL REMITENTE
(Return To Sender)
SIDE B: ¿DE DONDE VIENES?
(Where Do You Come From)
MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original RCA Records very first Mono press released, made and distributed by RCA Victor Records in Chile in 1962, catalog number 47-8100, with machine etched matrix numbers 47-8100-A LAT (“LAT” handwritten) R1 in Side A and 47-8100-B LAT (“LAT” handwritten) R1 in Side B, with traditional black/silver RCA Victor Records labels of the period with 3-prong push-out center and small silver “RCA Victor” with dog logo at top. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!
“Return To Sender” was originally released in USA in 1962 and we didn’t have to wait much because the same year we could see this single released here in Chile. Song titles are written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters and play time of each song, with the price printed in Side A, “E° 1,80” and additional information in both sides written in Spanish, “From The Paramount Film “Girls! Girls! Girls!’”. It’s interesting to notice that in this Chilean press the film is misspelled “GIRLS GIRLS! GIRLS” in Side A and “GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS” in Side B. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS of this classic hit by Elvis Presley with UNIQUE ERRORS and Spanish-written song titles. WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans and collectors of Elvis Presley and/or early Rock’N’Roll music!!!
This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in nice VG- or VG condition both sides, glossy and clean, with many soft scuffs, light hairlines and light scratches, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in VG or VG+ condition the Side A, clear and clean, with only some spindle hole wear and very faint blemishes, hard to see at first sight. The sound is in strong VG- or VG condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, with a soft background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with constant soft crackles and regular light clicks, which don’t cause major distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, for sure this record is not for the strictest Minty minds or audiophiles, but this is still a great record in this MEGARARE PRESS with UNIQUE ERRORS and Spanish-written song titles, with a nice glossy look, clear and fully readable labels and a very decent and respectable sound quality after about 59 years, which won’t disappoint anyone and will satisfy any serious collector who knows the label of rarity of this Chilean single. Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!
Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…
Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile
___________________________________________
We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like
new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only
some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the
sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or
poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there
is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which
doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or
creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays
no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and
the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra
items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has
noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The
cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits,
discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for
properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface
noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
