PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
ULTRA RARE private pressing from 1978 conjured and conceived by Virginia's own Lenis Guess and released on the, you guessed it, Guess label (see what I did there?). Without a doubt one of the most in-demand LPs among funk collectors and a fav of Kon & Amir (the ultra-funky Lost In Space in particular). LP is a gorgeous near mint minus and cover is VG+ with a hint of foxing and a tiny crease at the tip of the bottom left hand corner. Only two of these have come up for sale in the last five years with one going for $670.00 in 2019 so don't sleep. It will be a long time before another one surfaces and this one is priced to move, especially in this condition.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE
VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
